sap value unconverted field length trimmed

hi,

i'm trying to load data from sap

table :cgpl_project

field: guid

the data that qlikview loads is the unconverted value of the field, i can live with that.

the problem is that the unconverted value length should be 32 chars but i get only 24 char to qlikview after the sql select.

i'm using the latest version of the sap connector (5.8 SR4)

I'm not sure I could help with the 24 chars issue..

However, you may try extracting the external format (converted) of the field by setting the following parameter in the connection string:

ConvRoutine=1

i´m having exactly the same problem. in some tables i have 24 chars and other with 32 in PPM module. Could you solve the problem?

Try to add the parameter ConvRoutine=1 to the connection string maby it will help you.
