A derivative of the QlikView System Monitor for versions 10/11, finally the QlikView 12-compatible version has arrived. The UI has undergone some changes and the structure/setup has been simplified. This application will read your QVS machine logs and output all kinds of information for you, such as virtual memory warnings, PGO/.Shared errors, user trending and utilization, and chronological logging events across the system.
If you're looking for the QV 11.2 version, please find it here.
Thanks for your patience and if you have any questions/comments please post to this thread!
Best,
MT !
Hi Michael,
Are you sure you attached the right version v6.1_QV12.
I got many errors while trying reload report.
For example,
- TAB "AuditLog"
line 60 Drop Fields [@2],[@1]; while you haven't [@1] in the resulted table.
- TAB Master - some blocks haven't been commented but not in use anymore - no tables MGMT, SalesforceConnector, DirectorySvcConnector, IIS, WebService.
I hope it wasn't the right version published.
Kind regards,
Mykola Korotkyy
Thanks Mykola I think I've identified the problems and have uploaded a new version. Hope this works- if not please let me know and attach your script log.
Cheers,
MT
Hi Michael,
Need assistance from you. We recently upgraded to Qlikview 12. QVPR and QDS xml files are created in Qlikview 12, But the files does nt have any data even tasks and task runs are in Qmc, How we can get the data/refresh of the xml files. Thanks in advance
I recently upgraded to QV 12.10.206 and am trying to use the QVSystemMonitor v6.1.1 and receive the following error during reload.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Craig Leite
Same here...no Id. Looking in the log folder I do not see any Audit log files since May 12th actually. Do the new Audit log files need to be enabled on the QMC or Publisher somewhere?
Files being created in folder "\\servername\qvqmc\QlikView Logs" are;
Performance*.log
Events*.log
Sessions*.log
Edit: I found they do need to be enabled on the server, but the old Audit*.log files do not have Id, among other fields. Should Enable Extensive Audit Logging need to be enabled too? (I would do it but I don't have that access...sigh)
Hi John,
I have turned on Audit logging and Enable Extensive Audit Logging and still get the same error above.
No luck so far.
Hi guys - would you mind attaching 1 of each log file for me? Events/Performance/Sessions/Audit? I'll take a look on my end. Thank you.
I'm still trying to get the admin to have the Audit Logs enabled and saving to the same location as the other log files.
BTW, if I comment out the Audit Log pulls the script runs fine.
Hi Michael,
You want one of each log for the current day or previous day?
Thank you,
Craig Leite
Hi Craig,
The previous day will be fine, thank you.
