Connecting to IMPALA

Hi Susvith,

I suggest to download the Cloudera Hive ODBC driver to use it with Impala (just use Impala's port to connect). This seems to be the most workable option at the moment.

Ah, a new version. I had problems with v2.5.15 before so I used the Hive ODBC driver..

Hi Susvith,

have you had the necessity to load more than a table through direct discovery from IMPALA? Were you successful in any way? In my test, the join between two tables returns a incorrect result.

Join in direct select will work from version 11.2 SR8..
