Mapping load and Apply Map

Hi All,

Will mapping load and Apply Map work when there is many to many relation between two keys. As per my understanding it wont work or result set will be wrong.

please let me know the workaround for this.

Thanks in Advance.

Re: Mapping load and Apply Map

You cannot use Applymap() for many-to-many relations. The function demands that there is only one translation (mapped value) to the input value. But you can of course have several different input values that all are mapped to the same translation.

When creating the mapping table, QlikView will only pick up the first occurance of an input value, thus ensuring that there is no ambiguity.
