Grouping and Aggregation function in pivot table

Hi

This is venu

New to Qv

in pivot table  grouping is there then what is the need of  Aggregation function...

I mean what are the differences and common points pf grouping and aggregation in Pivot..?

tell me one example also...

You need to have your grouping fields as dimensions and your aggregations/measures as expressions. See more here http://community.qlik.com/blogs/qlikviewdesignblog/2013/03/25/dimensions-and-measures
