Log out issue in Qlik Add-in Excel

Hello,

We having an access issue when using the Qlik Add-in in Excel, and in order to resolve it, we would like to Log out first from our session from the Add-In. Is there a possibility to end the user's session in Excel Qlik Add-in from the Qlik Cloud Administration console ?

Please start a support case and include a 'har' file log captured while the issue is in progress. This will help to diagnose the issue.  You may also examine the har file once you record and capture the details. This will provide you directly with error information as well.

However it may be a network issue (vpn or proxy redirection or blocking), incorrectly configured Qlik manifest file or incorrectly configured oauth settings in Qlik Cloud administrative settings.

The har file should provide some clues.

It is not clear what your requirement is here. 

Can you please elaborate more with detailed specific steps and examples?

 

But if I make an assumption of what you mean, you can click the 'view app in Qlik Sense' link. This will take you to the Qlik Sense app.

 

 

Next you simply go to your profile link and then click logout.

It's about using Qlik Add-in in Excel. We have an access issue to applications that are public and accessible via the web interface but we cannot see them in Excel. In order to debug, the issue, we wanted to log out from the Add-in then log in with another account but it seems not possible as well as it is seen in the attached screenshots

The blank popup window might indicate that you 'may' have a elements of a popup blocker blocking you. Please ensure to disable popup blockers for your Qlik Apps when prompted by your browser.

And/ or

The error message indicates that you are trying to edit a template that is associated with a different app. Check these steps to change the AppID for the app you want to edit.

Changing the connected Qlik Sense app

The appID will change when you move/publish it to a different space. For example the appID will change when you publish your app from a share space to a managed space. The appID will change and so you will need to update the reference to it as described in the link above.

You will also have errors if you try to use a report template built in a different tenant. Apps may have the same name but AppIDs will change when moved to different tenants. But again you can use the link above to change the tenant and sense app information for the report template that you are working with.

Hello @Frank_S,

Thank you for your reply and explanation but it is no and appId issue since the app is not published yet and the other users can access it with no problem.
Is there a way to debug the problem or reset the add in parameters in Excel, because currently the user only gets a loading page when clicking on the addin as shown in the attached screenshot with no redirection
