Hi all,
Since May 2021 new installations of Qlik Sense which comes with a new PostgreSQL version (12.5 if I remember correctly) the QLogs DB won't work anymore, as per
All the default Applications for monitoring and governance can be modified to read the file system logging files only, but is there a way to implement the Sense System Performance Analyzer application to work with only file system logging from the logs?
Or perhaps it will be released a new App version without using the QLogs Service.
Further more, Is the "Qlik Logging Service" going to be removed from the services that Qlik Sense new installations by default? So we don't have to worry about that service anymore?
Thanks
Vlad
Hi @VRaducan
there is no plan to change Qlik Sense Performance App Analyzer to reflect the changes in Qlik Sense and the deprecation of QLogs.
You could either customize the existing app on your side, or submit a feature request so it gets traction to our Product Management team. https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/How-To-Submit-Feature-Requests-For-Qlik-Products/ta-p/171258...
Regarding the logging service, I believe it should no longer be present in the product on our next release for February 2022 (pending confirmation as I do not have installed one yet)
Hope this helps.
