Refresh Qlik dashboard from hub without enabling data load editor

Dears,

I have a requirement where user should refresh the published dashboard from hub and user shouldn't have access to data load editor.

I have used reload extension in the sheet to reload dashboard from hub and provided data connections access and disabled data load editor section to user through security rules.

I am able to reload the app but getting "Access denied" error after the reload.

Can anyone please help on this if you have come across this scenario.

Thanks for your reply.

I am not looking at the reload from hub as mentioned in article.

My requirement is , user will have a input field (extension) in sheet and he will pass the values from the input field to backend query (where clause). User then clicks reload button (extension) to manually refresh the dashboard after providing values to input field.
