It looks like "app internals" might be variables. I tried creating charts, filters, bookmarks, editing script, reloading data, changing app's name, changing app's description, creating new sheet, creating alternate state. None of that changed app's record in AppInternals table in the repository database.
The only thing that got ModifiedDate to update in AppInternals table in repository database is creating, updating, or deleting a variable.
Based on that I'll assume that App Internals = Variables. If anyone knows otherwise, would you please let me know?
