I need to reload an application every 10 minutes.

Now 5 minutes is the closest interval, which causes twice as many requests as having a 10 minutes option would have.

Why not have an input field where I can input a number and maybe select seconds/minudes/hours/days... ?

Thanks for sharing this feedback. 
We have an open improvement to offer more flexibility on the scheduling (every x days, day x of month, ..)  and I'll add this request as well.
