During development I create a lot of development sheets to verify data or to test things. Whenever I want to release the app I have to delete those sheets. It would be much faster and comfortable if this can be done with a bulk delete. I just want to choose the sheets which should be deleted instead of deleting one sheet after the other.
With the Feb 2021 release there's conditional show on sheets so I've started using that to hide these dev sheets - either having a variable that I tweak from 1 to 0 before publishing or having some code that picks up the app name (e.g. ends in "Dev") or user name (i.e. is me) to show or hide the sheets. This has the added benefit that you get to keep those dev/debug sheets in the app for next time you need to work on it - no more recreating the same ones over and over...
I still think some kind of bulk delete would be useful but thought I'd share this workflow.
Hi @Daniel_G thanks for sharing the idea and some others already started commenting on it. I'm changing the status to "On Roadmap" as we do have the App overview on our list and to change / improve it. Such a capability to multi select and then do actions with the sheet is listed. Like you can bulk delete or bulk approve, etc.
