I Hope I don't miss an existing capability.
Shall be possible to allow a system administrator to manage "externally" the user access to an application Sheet, including the capability to audit these permissions from the QMC and Monitoring apps.
The current work around requires to "interact" with the app sheet name / description. This is a bad idea and has several limitations.
If this capability is missing indeed, one possible idea is to add to the app sheet object a property that can be managed by the combination of Custom Properties and Security Rules including the possibility of using LDAP groups, etc. to manage the required permissions. All the above completely independent from Sheet name and description.
