Sendgrid is a  recognised email service and is used by our company (a large global automobile manufacturer)
Following the instructions from here ..

The password should be the api key but  if I try to enter this I get an error saying password cannot exceed 16 characters.

The api key I have is 69 characters.

At the moment this means we cannot set up email alerts.

Increase the size of the password limit to allow long passwords.

Perhaps 255 characters ?

Thanks for dismissing my suggestion without even a comment.

Maybe my company should use other integration software if this is the contempt you treat your customers with !!

@Mez63 I apologize for not commenting on this when closing the ideation. We are currently in the process of moving all ideations to a new system. In an effort to make this migration easier, we are closing older ideations that did not see a lot of activity (likes/comments). If you are still interested in this enhancement, please open a new ideation so it repopulates as "new" in our system.
