The filter pane is one of the most commonly used QS chart objects. And often the first to be added to a sheet.
Whilst a user can drag a field or master item from the assets panel onto the visualisation, often they want to quickly use the add dimension option presented on the new object.
There is no "Filter by table" option here, unlike in many other QS visualisation options.
Adding a filter field with a drop down list of available tables - to replicate assets panel master item behaviour - would add a lot of value.
Large data models need this capability. Yes - the type-ahead search reduces the master item/field list but it does not assist the user by allowing table-based selections.
