We have spent multiple hours with Qlik Professional Services, Customer First and CSE Teams to understand how the product works and realized that below are major factors contributing to latency based on a set of KPI’s – volume/velocity of changes, latency SLA being the main.
- Logstream and data drive needs to be separated and logstream drive needs to be disk optimized (with high IOPS)
- Memory on the chosen VM should be more and optimized for high performance
- In Summary, choose a VM which is disk optimized (high IOPS) and memory optimized (faster memory and more memory) for best results.

Ask, we are not sure which one to choose from this list that would give max performance and least cost. Do we spin one big box vs multiple small boxes and we need guidance on this.
