High-Availability (HA) for Qlik Replicate on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

As per Qlik R&D in case: 01985303 – the Managed Instance for Replicate on Google Cloud is not certified. HA for Replicate on Windows leverages the OS Clustering.

This clustering needs a shared storage disk between the Active and Passive servers. In the case of GCP, when the Replicate server is on the Google Cloud,

the shared storage used by GCP is NetApp, and as Qlik PS pointed out, SQLite does not support NetApp.

Business Impact: Project is scheduled to Go Live in April 2021 and one of the key sign-offs for the project Go-Live is to have Qlik Replicate Servers be Highly Available.
