The business case is that users created an app with a bunch of master item Dimensions, Measures and Visualizations. When users created another app and it happened that the same or the similar master item Dimensions, Measures and Visualizations need to be created in the new app, users does not want to create those master items from scratch.
It will be great if users can have an interface to import the master items that have been created in the other apps to create master items in the newly created app. It is like global master items at hub level that can be applied locally to multiple apps.
Vizlib created visualization template (click here to see how vizlib master visualization template works), but this idea includes master item dimensions, measures and visualization.
This idea will also be useful in the business case where there are several app developers who want to collaborate together in creating master item dimensions, measures and visualizations for several apps.
