Option to Disable Touch Screen or toggle Touch Screen off on server side

A customer request: Can you disable Touch Screen Mode by default? Such as an Off setting in the Qlik Sense server that disabled it for all touch screen laptops or other hybrid devices?

This is currently not possible.

Yea, we could use this too.  Is causing a number of headaches for users and our team as we troubleshoot their issues and this is a common one.

"This is a great idea and very much worth implementing. Not only is touch rarely used in our enterprise deployment, when enabled the right-click context menus differ when On versus Off. A default of On causes issues with accessibility whereas Off resolves. For the enterprise our preference is to have the choice and set the default to Off. Thanks for posting this!"

Excatly this! Same here at Dehner, we really need to disable Touch Mode by default. +1

Our customers would really appreciate this opportunity and it would eliminate some of the confusion.

Our experience with Qlik Sense Enterprise for Windows, Google Chrome browser will usually keep the touch-screen mode off when opening and closing the same app.  It was observed to be more of an issue with Microsoft Edge.  We were also under the impression, that if the app was published to a Stream with touch screen mode on, it would be on when a user opens the app.  I am not certain that is the case.   I would like to add to the rest of people commenting on this page, we would like the option to turn off Touch Screen Mode from the server for all users.  Justified with the same comments they have mentioned.
