My client also needs this functionality. My client is very keen to move all of his apps to Qlik Saas that's why to be able to have efficient control on whole BI environment he needs possibility to analyze usage on sheet level per user.
For us, this missing functionality in Qlik Cloud is the single biggest gap between on-prem and Cloud. Will we proceed with our planned migration to the Cloud? Perhaps, but we are first going to have to gauge its effect on our users, who rely on sheet usage as a way to identify which sheets are most popular/useful. We built a custom menu for our on-prem environment that includes sheet usage statistics.
My team would also like to know if this is a possibility. We found the "Events" within the SaaS management console, but we did not see sheet level usage as a recorded data point. Is there any way to add this usage?
This functionality is important for our team's move to SaaS, and it would be a huge help to have it. If it is not currently possible, could we file a formal enhancement request?
I would go even further, I would like to be able to change the ownership of sheets. When an employee leaves the company, I would like to give myself ownership of their private sheets to decide if I would need to attribute them to the new hire that will replace him. Maybe these sheets are part of a vital process for the plant. I want to clean them up, keep the good stuff, change ownership... Same when a user is asking for help with building their sheets, it can be useful to take ownership, do the modification then give it back.
For one of Our Use Cases, we require the Sheet based usage data for the analysis on the Lifecycle of Dashboards and the adoption of Qlik reporting /Dashboarding among the End Users.
Our Client is very Keen in using this metrics in Qlik Sense SaaS. Atleast if there is any API that could expose the data for use to consume would be nice to have until a separate App is created or if the existing Monitoring Apps are created.
We see the same need. With some of our apps containing more sheets than would strictly speaking be wise, we want to cut down on the number of sheets within an app. Without sheet usage statistics we do not have the right means to decide which sheets can be deprecated and which are to be maintained.
