While based on the technical documentation it is clearly called out that we cannot replicate calculated columns in Salesforce to a target based on certain limitations with CDC, I think that customers should be given the ability to replicate calculated columns if they are doing a Full Load process all of the time for this data.

We have many calculated columns in Salesforce.  We cannot simply just create new target columns with the Salesforce calculations.  Chasing that would be a nightmare.

In our current situation, I want to use the Salesforce connector to batch load data into our target.  This would be a truncate and load of the target every time the task runs and not CDC.

We have a new endpoint that supports calculated columns available with Salesforce SOAP API.
