SaaS Mobile Alerts Customization

Currently Process for Mobile Alerts in Qlik Sense SaaS:

1- Mobile Alert notification banner appears (Click)

2- List of Alert History Appears (Click on most recent)

3- Details of Alert shown (Click to view in app)

 4- View details in app

Please allow for customization to skip steps 2 and 3 if desired. My companies preference would be only steps 1 and 4.

In step 3 it would be nice to have it more customizable to show certain fields, and not others. There is a lot of information there that is not needed.

We love the functionality of the Alerts but would like some more customizations available for us.

Hi @T-Lambourne,

Thank you very much for your feedback, we really appreciate it!

We completely understand the need to skip some of these steps. In order to make this process easier, we have logged an improvement that would take you to the alert details section where you'd have a description of which data triggered the alert, the details (owner & app), the conditions of the alert, and the selections. At the bottom, the user would have 2 options: View History (to see what's happened before) and View in app to be taken straight to the application that triggered the alert. In other words, you'll be taken to the exact same view you get when you go to Notifications (the bell) and click on a particular alert.

The idea is that you'll be given the information you're looking for faster and be allowed to select where you'd like to go next.

I hope this helps!

Thank you,

-Yuliya Cashman-Kiperberg
