Users and Perfomance Page

Currently, Qlik Sense doesn´t have a simple interface to display the current users, sessions connected or documents loaded. We need to access monitoring tools to understand.

We need to see exactly when a problem happens, which thresholds are high or low to be able instantly analysis.

Please, feel fre to creatme a QMC Status page to find out it. It´s very important.

How would this differ from the current License and Operations Monitors provided?

I've to know now, which documents are loaded (in memory), how many sessions, current memory allocated.

It's very important to provide informations for help the administration teams.

The monitoring apps require reloading, a section in the QMC for active sessions is what Ricardo is describing I think.

I agree there is a need to quickly pin point the current sessions etc. for users within Sense. I've been looking around and have had limited success with the Qlik Proxy API. In the June 2018 version of Qlik Sense there is a call to get the current sessions against a proxy. By doing a get on:  https://<hostname>:4243/qps/<virtualproxyprefix>/session

You can find more information around the Proxy API here. However, I'm still working on getting clarity on the current documents utilised in the session etc.

Hi Matt!

Can you post an example?

If I call the url on my June 2018 Text environment I get a "403 Forbidden" error

Healthcheck API still works, but it does not give any "User to document info" https://server.domain.com/engine/healthcheck/

Just watched the Partner Virtual Technical Town Hall webinar.

As one of Qlik's incubator projects, they are working on a real-time app that reads Streaming data in real-time and also allows users to configure real-time alerts. The first use case I could think of was Qlik Sense itself!

Why on earth Qlik has yet not implemented real-time active sessions, open in-memory apps, connected users, server resources usage and even alerts? As an Administrator it's a big difficult to accept.

We shouldn't have to spend time (money) on creating custom solutions for key features using the APIs. These are common needs and therefore should be included in the product out-of-the-box.

I've seen that on the roadmap Qlik is starting to finally add additional tools and feature for Developers. Time to also add, enhance and improve the Administration tools.

Thanks!

this would be a great feature, it is very surprising there is no way to do this real time built in to the QMC.

This one is a no-brainer so not sure why it's still collecting feedback.
