Hello Qlik users,

An issue has been found where BEx extraction stops working after upgrading to SAP BW 7.50 SP14.  Specifically, the following error occurs at reload of BEx connector script:

‘RfcAbapRuntimeException: Access using a 'ZERO' object reference is not possible’.

In addition, the following error could also occur when opening a BEx query in the select dialog:

‘RfcAbapRuntimeException: Invalid subfield access: Offset negative‘.

To correct this issue, R&D has provided a patch that is available in the form of a transport file that will need to be imported into the SAP BW system.  The patch will be included in a future release of the Qlik SAP Connectors package.  Until then, If you encounter this issue, please contact support at support.qlik.com and reference the ID SAP-1985.

For further details on this issue, please refer to the article found here SAP BEx Connector: BEx extraction stops working after upgrade to SAP BW 7.50 SP14.
