Advice around Staging Databases for Intgration

Hello

A quick question around integration architecture as we start our Talend journey.

Our migration architecture involves use of a staging database for ingestion, cleansing and transformation.

We are thinking what database requirements we would need for integration.

For routes we are hoping to use message queues for storing data.

If we need to build ELT or ETL jobs we imagine we will need some db staging area?

We were wondering if it is recommended to use the mysql db that comes with talend for this?

Thanks
