DOS/WINDOWS vs MACINTOSH

I'm doing a reading of DOS / Windows file and load it works perfectly.
The client sent me a Macintosh-formatted file and only processes the frontline me.
You can make a format change prior to loading?

According to this thread, it seems you need a third-part software to read it and convert the format.
