Defining HDFS in repository requires many context choosings

Hello.

In TOS 6.1 I didn't use to have this problem, but on TOS 6.3.1 it happens all the time.

I have hdfs-site.xml. yarn-site.xml and hive-site.xml files from the Hadoop Cluster.

When defining a new cluster in the metadata repository, I choose to import from these files.

After configuring and testing the connections, I press "Export as context" and create context groups with several environments (Default, Test, Prod).

When checking the connection again in the repository, It prompts the "current connection is in context mode" windows many times, instead of just once.

Then, when I create a new job and drag the hive connetion to the grid, it again prompts the said window, and each time I try to run the job, no matter what and though the context is properly defined.

Is there any thing I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

Hello,

The context variables are not missing after change to context mode?

Does this issue also repro on V 6.4?

Best regards

Sabrina

hi, Sabrina.

I've just downloaded 6.4. I'll give it a go and see.

Thanks
