Does Data Stewardship only support MongoDB? Does it support any other Database? How about Postgres?
Our target data center is Postgres, can we make the DataStewardship reuse the same database as our target data center, just create the related tables on this Postgres DB for Stewardship?
Hello,
Qlik Talend has assessed Data Stewardship compatibility with Amazon DocumentDB in V 8.0.1.
As written in the documentation(Talend Data Stewardship) MongoDB 7.0 is supported.
Currently, the list of officially supported MongoDB versions is available in the documentation link.
If you want to use other DBs, like Postgres DB, this is by definition not officially supported, and would require a feature request.
Best regards
Sabrina
Hi, I think the "Data Stewardship" module is database agnostic, meaning the campaign can be created regardless of source/target DB. I did a Campaign a while ago using Azure SQL Server (both as source and target). I needed to do this in conjunction with talend studio, since back then using a campaign within talend cloud "pipeline designer" was not officially released. In the meantime I guess this would also work.
Sorry, my requirement is we try to install a signal Data Stewardship instead of using the cloud one. We try to make the installed Data Stewardship use the Postgres DB, and use the same database with another project, then the another project can build the customer UI to handle the Stewardship instance's data.
