Knowing Java and jasperETL

I'm not very expert in Java and with jasperETL , I was wondering if I can create a class using tJavaFlex
If can please give me a small draft like for example an add function.

ah, for testing and learning, I think you should use tJava component, tjava is an Java edior or create routines.

Shong, what if I had created a class in tjava , Can I call it's method in other component?

To create class and declare methods, go to Repository-->code-->Routines, and create custom routine, and then you call it's method on any component in the job.

I was able to go Repository | Navigator->My project ->code->routines but I can't find the option to create custom routines.
