I have written some tutorials around doing things with Talend that aren't the typical "dry" business case examples. Unfortunately I have just changed my user on here (I used to be "rhall", but have given up that user as I no longer work for Talend) and cannot post links. But if you search for posts by "rhall" you will find several links to my website where you will find some varied tutorials with step by step instructions and downloadable working versions. It would be good to find out whether these tutorials are of use to a Talend newbie and whether I need to add some simpler examples.
