Hi Talend Experts,
Is there any formula that we can use to derive the job resource requirements (CPU, RAM, JVM Min/MAX, Disk Space). I understand that job complexity (number of components, number of tmaps) and the input/lookup data volume plays a key role in it. But is there any effective formula as such?
@Chanaka Priyantha Wagoda Pathirage , since I have not found any formula to calculate all those. @Shicong Hong @Richard Hall ,Please share if you have any details about this.
@Manohar B I am still searching for answers. Will update the post if I get something.
Ok @Chanaka Priyantha Wagoda Pathirage
A good way of monitoring how much memory you use is to use the tMemoryMonitor component. You can find it on Talend Exchange here....
You will either need to use your old login for this or create a new one. We will be moving Talend Exchange to closer aligned to the Community very soon.
Regarding formulas for CPU, RAM, etc, it is very difficult to come up with a single formula for this. We recommend that you monitor your resources while testing and try to get an idea from this monitoring
