RBMS connections with Big data

Hello everyone,

is there a special configuration to connect to databases while I am using big database components ?

when I try to establish a connection with Oracle it is showing me this error:

The last packet sent successfully to the server was 0 milliseconds ago. The driver has not received any packets from the server.

And when I try a Mysql connection it is showing me this error:

The last packet sent successfully to the server was 0 milliseconds ago. The driver has not received any packets from the server

I already tried to use 127.0.0.1 instead of "localhost", unchecked "Active the timeout for database connection" option.

Are you DB serve running well? Is your DB connection OK with you? Which is talend bigdata component you are using?

We will appreciate it a lot if you can give us more information about your issue.
