Replace column value: project text

Hello!

I have a input table (Table 1) which has project_nr, period, year, project_name etc. The question is, I have to replace the project name with the newest name for all months for that project in Table 2. For example:

INPUT_TABLE (TABLE 1)
Project number	Period	Year	Project_Name
301-19	1	2019	ABC

Output table: (Expected)

Project number	Period	Year	Project_Name
301-19	1	2019	ABC

Now in february 2019, the name changes for project 301-19, 

Input Table1:

Project number	Period	Year	Project_Name
301-19	1	2019	ABC
301-19	2	2019	ABC_D

Expected output for Table2:

Project number	Period	Year	Project_Name
301-19	1	2019	ABC_D
301-19	2	2019	ABC_D

Now there is a change in the name again in march 2019,

Input Table1:

Project number	Period	Year	Project_Name
301-19	1	2019	ABC
301-19	2	2019	ABC_D
301-19	3	2019	DEF

Expected output for Table 2:

Project number	Period	Year	Project_Name
301-19	1	2019	DEF
301-19	2	2019	DEF
301-19	3	2019	DEF

I am not able to get the exact code for string comparison. How can I solve this issue?
