I have Talend studio for big data enterprise edition. I have few things to clear up. I was told to install talend studio in local machine & TAC at server ( RHEL ). Talend studio is to design the jobs , TAC is to schedule the jobs. Am not sure how it works , how to configure either SVN or GIT.
Need a clear explanation. Please don't send me the talend installation guide , its completely confusing.
Need detail like how to install. why they setting TAC in server ? is that the way to do it or ? why it couldn't be everything on local machine.
Explain about the installation procedure in words ? How talend works ! Installation is confusing for many ! I install talend studio for big data on local machine. Don't know how to install TAC on server, what to do ?
The recommended architecture is not to install all the Talend services into one server. Please refer the below link for details to understand from architecture perspective..
Now, regarding steps for the installation, you will have to go to help.talend.com as it is the sole reference point. But if you are finding it difficult, please talk to your CSM to get the Professional Service help.
