Talend as an OData producer / webserver.

For our customers we offer different solutions to upload/ download data to our Cloud products mostly still SOAP based or custom REST. Currently we are looking into providing an OData protocol based interface so we can more easy model new data requests into our services when needed. And we don't have to explain to everybody anymore how you should communicate with our servers. Only the downside is that Talend seems to be lacking support for OData unless you are willing to dive into custom java code and libs.

Am I correct about this? In the old forum I found some post mentioning that Talend was looking into OData support, but that was an older post already. If so are there plans or has anybody an nice suggestion for a good protocol instead of OData that works with Talend default components.

Hi Sabrina,

Sorry but I am looking for a component that provides a ODATA webservice to access by the rest of the world. So not a connection to M$ CRM or Salesforce.
