Using tdbinput component (oracle) input query and output to csv file - Hanging

Hello Gurus,

I am trying since many days to as my dbinput as oracle (the connection is successful) in the query section I am writing a query to fetch records for August month 2018 and then I have output connection a a csv file (tFileOutputDelimited) but it is hanging to starting. Not sure why... However I have questions below.

1. Can I write a sql query in the query section of tDBInput component to fetch data for 1 month ? inside the quotes?

2. is there any other component I should be using.

I used cursor option and extended the rows to fetch but it doesn't work.

Hello,

I'm using Windows 8.1 64-bit.

I restarted Open Studio couple of times but issue remains same.

Please help on what I can do to fix this..

What's your oracle version? Is your oracle connection OK with you?  Did you centralize DB table based metadata into a JDBC connection?

Oracle 11g ; Yes oracle connection is fine and is successful without any
issues. only problem is retrieving schemas. the buttons are disabled.
Yes; I did a DB centralized metadata and then picked up schema from there.
Now if I want to remove some of the columns it doesn't appear to be
enabled(next and finish buttons).
I faced this issue earlier as well but somebody in the blog said it's a bug
and I need to resize the window etc.

Hello,

Do you have any error in your log when this happened? If yes please attach the full log and add the exception.

However, I haven't seen this GUI issue on v 7.0.1.
