enable/disable column name filter in tmap

We have the option of enable/disable column name filter in tmap for both input and output tables. Can anybody help me understand with an example how this works.

Attached the screenshot for reference to locate were in tmap this option is present

I think it's just a live filter to help développer to get column in big table.

I think ColumnFilter is to help filter in case you have huge number of columns.

It’s just like any other search tool to help locate a specific column

I don’t use it. I just try to perform some tests, but it’s didn’t work exactly as I was expecting.
