[resolved] Two "Problems" with new install of 6.1.1.20151214_1327

After starting TOS for Big Data and opening the General>Problems view, I see two problems...
Project build error: Non-readable POM C:\TOS\TOS_BD-20151214_1327-V6.1.1\workspace\.Java\pom.xml: input contained no data pom.xml /.Java line 1 Maven pom Loading Problem

Project configuration is not up-to-date with pom.xml. Run Maven->Update Project or use Quick Fix. .Java line 1 Maven Configuration Problem

Any suggestions on how to resolve these problems?

I'm also unable to build any jobs.

In Preferences>Maven I have checked "Update Maven projects on startup" and restarted Talend, but that has not resolved the error.

Running Quick Fix did not resolve.
After reading some posts about a zero-byte corrupted pom.xml file, I tried deleting that file. Problem remained.
Then I ran Quick Fix again, restarted Talend, and the problem was gone.
Appears to be resolved. Am now able to complete the build process.
