Hi,
There is an option :

Window / Preferences ... / Talend / Performance --> Activate the Timeout for the Database Connection

Please this option is only used by the studio ? or is it a default timeout for all database components in jobs ?
We can set a timeout in components using JDBC additionnal parameters. Please, do you know an alternative way to modify connections timeout ?

This option is only used for TOS.
As you say, you can set a timeout in components using JDBC additionnal parameters.
