[resolved] unable to pass parameters from main job to a child job

Hello guys,
I am new in Talend tool. I use Talend Big Data Open Studio 5.5. I try to read some parameters from a file in my main job and pass them to a child job. When I try to add the parameters to my child job, I do not have available the buttons + - in order to add new parameters.

Can someone tell how can I solve this? I need to execute the child jobs multiple times, based on my input file from tFileInputDelimited component.

Thank you in advance!

Hi
If the Context tab disappears, you can open it by clicking Windows-->Show view-->Talend-->Context, and then define the variables in the Context tab before you use them.

Hi
You need to define context variables in child job first, please refer to this article about how to pass parameters from main job to a child job.

Hello,
Unfortunately I didn't succeed after your advice, I also followed the instructions you provided on link. I tried to create the same mainjob and subjob like here ,
but with no success. I receive error: "

Error in the component's properties 0683p000009M9p6.pngyntax error on token "context", delete this token

f1 cannot be resolved or is not a field

f2 cannot be resolved or is not a field

"

Could it be because of my Talend version? Also I don't have any tab called "Contexts"
Thank you for your answer!
