tOracleInput vs tOracleConenction

I need to connect to database. So should I use tOracleConnection for making the DB connection or I should use the tOracleInput. Does the tOracleInput close the DB connection automatically after the job is completed?

Hi,

The tOracleClose component closes the transaction committed in the connected DB.

Usually, we use tOracleConnection to open a connection to the specified database that can then be reused in the subsequent subjob or subjobs.

The work flow looks like: tOracleconnection-->onsubjobok--> tOracleinput-->output
