tWebService Normalize

Hi,

I have some misunderstanding with tWebService component:

I found note in https://info.talend.com/rs/talend/images/UG_EN_DI_TOSDI.pdf on page 329 saying that you can use Normalize and Denormalize buttons in some cases.

My question is: what are the exactly conditions when you can use Normalize button? Because whatever I tried, this Normalize button is always gray for me.

About Normalize button, I have never used this button and it is always gray for me too ;(, I will check with our developers , I will update to you once I have new information.

I have got answers from our developer, these two buttons are active depends on the data type of return values, see below.

Can you please tell me, what data types could activate the Normalize button?
I would appreciate some use case.

To find the origin link (now redirect to talend.com) try google search "talend web service normalize file: pdf", it is the second link.

Week ago there was a pdf document available on this link.
