Deprecated Dashboard

What is the best practice followed to deprecate qlik sense cloud (saas) dashboards in a production space.

Outside of admin work such as getting sign-off, closing EPICs, updating our inventory, etc, it boils down to taking a backup of the QVF and either deleting it immediately or moving it to a different stream for a few days to make sure no one misses it and then deleting it.
