Expression for Total

I have a expression sum(Total cost).

I want this expression to executed for some fields and as an when I include other dimensions then the above expression shd be Sum(Cost).

How can we achieve this in qlik?

I guess you are using sense not qlikview, in qlikview it's a lot more easier
