Live DataBase Connection with Realtime Updates

Hi there,

I am aware that I am able to build a Live connection to any DB by using ODBC Connectors to connect DB and Qlik Sense.

However, When Come to Realtime updates, Does Qlik Sense Supports Realtime updates from DB to Qlik Sense without any refresh or very often reloads.

How to handle this and address this.

as far as I know you need to refresh the Qlik Sense app that is connected to the database where the data is stored.

if you want this in realtime (near realtime) you need to reload the app an x amount of time to the the data.

if you have build an incremental extract app you can do this with no problem. because you only capture the changes. those should be small enought to for example reload every 5 minutes
