Set 2 different filters in one worksheet

Hello!

I want to set different filters in two pivot tables in a worksheet. When I apply a filter, it is always applied to the entire app, and I can't create different tables for the end user without them having to change the filter. I've set a bookmark, but it's for an elderly gentleman, and he would like a printout, so changing the bookmarks isn't possible.

Thanks

Yes, thanks, it works now. My default bookmark didn't have the alternate states—I updated it now, and it works 🙂

Hello @danielaw ,

You should work with Alternate States. Both in your filter and your object.

Please feel free to leave a like to this comment if it helps you uot!

As @FedericoDellAcqua , suggested use alternate state.

Hello!

Thanks, that worked fine as long as I stayed in the app. However, if I close and reopen the app, no filters are applied to the table to which I assigned the alternative state.
If I reassign it, I can still change the filters, and they remain correct in the table. However, as soon as I restart the app, all the filters in that table disappear again.

Hi

Set the bookmark as the default bookmark for the app (so it applies automatically on open).

Or use on open trigger to handle this use case
