I think that QlikView will be able to access this data via QlickBooks ODBC drivers.

What I found is:

"Users of QuickBooks have options in obtaining ODBC drivers for QuickBooks. There are free ODBC drivers provided to users of QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 6.0 and 7.0 (the editions released in 2006 and 2007 respectively)."

Checkout http://accountant.intuit.com/practice_resources/articles/technology/article.aspx?file=rs_QODBC2 and follow the links.

I haven't tried this, but looks promising. Let us know.

Hi Satish,

It's not QlikBook, it's QuickBooks from company IntuIt. It is a financial accounting software to manage business financials. It's not a QlikTech product.

See more at http://quickbooks.intuit.com/

Thanks

Yes it can. The ODBC driver for QuickBooks is VERY slow. Be sure to read the forum posts at http://www.qodbc.com/ on how to control the optimizer to improve performance!

Jay,

when you connected to qb, was the software installed on the same server as qv? I am having trouble connecting because QB is on one server and the QODBC is on another server.
