Budgeting and Forecasting tool for Qlik Sense

Does anyone have any experience or a product to recommend. I am looking for a tool that will enable me to:

a) Use a spreadsheet-like data input mechanism to enter budgets either manually or based on existing data (say last year's data) with some functionality to, for example, enter an annual budget and have it distribute equally across months

b) Create forecast data based on sales trends

c) To be integrated into Qlik Sense (i.e. not an Excel add-in)

Any recommendations would be very welcome.

I await your responses

Any offerings on a Budgeting tool for Qlik Sense.
I am after something with spreadsheet-style interface with write-back capability, top-down allocations etc. There are some like Jedox, K4 etc but personal experience and recommendation would help filter down the options.
Thanks in advance

Alexis

Hi Alexis,

Did you manage to find a plug in Budgeting tool for Qlik Sense?

I am very interested in finding such a solution.

Regards

Martin

Hi Martin
In the end we used the Vizlib Collaboration bundle that offers the WriteBack capability and we created our own forecasting and budgeting solution. Look at the examples that Vizlib has on their website.

All the best
Alexis

Hi,

when I did Qlik consulting I kept bumping in to the same problem, so I created Konstrukt to solve that. We're about to launch it with a freemium model, so just sign up here if you're curious for a free version to use. https://www.trykonstrukt.com/

In short, Konstrukt is a no-code cloud platform for all things data entry to complement Qlik (or any other data stack for that matter). So we've also used it for master data, approval flows, planning, simulation and complex calculation models, among other things. Check it out!
