Connecting to on-premise SQL server from Qlik Sense Saas app

Hi everyone

I'm in the process of moving a client over from QSE (Client managed) to QSE Saas.

They have a local SQL database which makes it easy to connect to from the current client managed QSE solution.

What I'm after is guidance on the SQL/firewall setup to allow QSE Saas to connect to the onsite instance?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Maybe this is then something for you

https://www.qlik.com/us/products/qlik-sense/qlik-forts

Another approach is to open all ports as documented here

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/sql-server/install/configure-the-windows-firewall-to-allow-sql-...

You will likely need this as well. Qlik Cloud DNS names and IP addresses
