Hi all, not sure if this is the right place to ask but I could really use some assistance. I'm a newbie in Qlik Administration and in networking. My problem right now is that we have a server that is hosting the Qlik Sense Enterprise in another city. The data source server which we are using SQL Server database is in the city that I lived in. I need to make a data connection from the QS Server to the data source server but since they are not in the same city and under different network, they don't have a connection and cannot ping each other on CMD. I was wondering if Qlik Sense has any built-in connector for this scenario or is there a way I can make a data connection between the QS and data source server that are not under the same network. The QS Server is in the IP range of 192.168.6.X and the data source server is in the range of 192.168.2.X. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Hi,
Qlik Sense does not have this kind of functionalities.
In your case, you can create a VPN tunnel between your servers.
Kind regards
Hi @mpc, thanks for clearing it up for me!
