Best Practices followed for the Roll Back of QlikSense from Initial Release versions?

We are upgrading our QlikSense environment. In order to plan it properly we are looking for Rollback steps in case of issues during upgrade. Do we have any document or discussion link to check?

Hi @TusharDev_Qlik

You will need to ensure that you have taken backups prior to the change. The most straightforward option would be to uninstall Sense and re-install the older version and restore from the backup.

You can find the steps to backup a Qlik Sense site here:

Hi @TusharDev_Qlik ,

the best option is to take a full backup of the system before performing the upgrade.

Should anything fail, you'll need to completely uninstall Qlik Sense and then reinstall it and restore the backup.

An easier option, if you are on virtual machines, is to take snapshots of all involved server before performing the upgrade and then restore them if necessary (we still recommend taking the backup mentioned above, though, just in case).

Best way is to create a ISO image of server. Restore it and you will have your old server with Qlik, physical data etc.
